Using “I can do all things” scripture even if it is not God’s will. (Philippians 4:13, 1 John 5:14-15, Luke 1:37, Matthew 19:23-26, Hebrews 11:6)
Jesus Died So You Could Live!
He will die for lack of discipline and instruction… Proverbs 5:23
Jesus said in John 10:10b, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus did not come for us to die, but to live! The writer of Psalm 118 prayed in verse 17, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” God wants us to live and walk in health (Isaiah 53:5, 3 John 2). He removes sickness and disease from us. Deuteronomy 7:15a says, “And the Lord will take away from you all sickness and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known.” It is important to realize that God does not put illness or disease upon us, so He could heal us from that disease. Jesus addressed this in Mark 3. In verses 24-25 He said, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Sickness and disease come from the enemy through our ignorance to God’s Word or disobedience to His Word. The healing power of God comes from obeying His Word (Proverbs 4:20-22, Psalm 107:20). Exodus 23:25 says, “But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.”
Hosea 4:6a says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Proverbs 2:6 says knowledge comes from God’s Word. Proverbs 5:23a (AMPC) says “He will die for lack of discipline and instruction.” So, if we are destroyed or die early it is because we do not know God’s Word, or we have chosen to disobey His Word. Proverbs 12:28 says, “In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.” There is NO premature death (Genesis 6:3) on the path that God has for us. Death comes when we are off God’s path! God wants us on His path, so we can live! Ezekiel 18:32 says, “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore, turn and live!” God has a great plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11). To find this plan and be on God’s path, we must read His Word daily and obey it. If you have not been doing this, then turn and live!
